Outcomark (“we”, “us”) operates the Outcomark accountability and outcome-record service. This policy explains how we handle personal data. Contact us at hello@outcomark.com.
If an organisation runs a programme through Outcomark, it may be the controller for participant data and Outcomark may process that data on its instructions. Ask the programme organisation about its own privacy notice and how it uses your information.
A cohort commitment is visible only to the audience agreed when its terms lock. This may include the participant, authorised programme operators, an assigned verifier, or authorised cohort members. Organisers can see member email addresses and roles, manage invitations, and review submissions in cohorts they manage; a dedicated verifier may review only submissions assigned to them. Authentication details, invitation tokens, private evidence, reviewer feedback, grades, and contact-form email addresses are not public. A programme summary export downloaded by an organiser identifies participants by email address alongside their commitment and its outcome; it excludes evidence, reviewer feedback, grades and invitation tokens. An organiser may issue a checkable copy of a cohort’s programme record. Anyone given its check link can view it; it holds the organisation and cohort names, cohort terms and counts, and no names, email addresses, task text or evidence. Earlier individual commitments have no public page but may remain in authorised account records.
If an earlier individual commitment named a witness, we email that witness the commitment, target, deadline and recorded outcome. A witness does not receive workspace or evidence access.
We use it to provide accounts and programme workspaces. A programme organisation may give us an invitee’s email address and intended role. We use it to deliver and secure a personal invitation, match it to the account used to accept it, and record its delivery, expiry, acceptance, replacement or revocation. We also use personal data to manage permissions; create and assign tasks; record, resolve, display, and export commitments under their locked rules; store evidence drafts and submitted versions; support review, feedback and optional grading; deliver personalised invitations; record and send service messages and reminders according to account choices; provide personal data downloads; manage account security; prevent abuse; respond to enquiries; maintain billing records; and keep the Service reliable and secure. Outcomark does not use AI to judge outcomes, coach or rank participants, and does not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.
Where UK or EU data-protection law applies, our bases are performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent where requested, and legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service. A programme organisation may rely on its own lawful bases for processing it controls.
We share only what is necessary with:
Providers act under contracts and may use subprocessors. Some processing may occur outside your country. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers. Contact us for current recipient categories and applicable transfer information. If security verification is configured, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and request information to protect authentication against automated abuse. This is a security purpose; it is not optional analytics.
We use necessary cookies and browser storage for sign-in, account recovery, security, and preferences such as your theme and privacy choice. A saved privacy choice expires after 180 days. These technologies do not track you across websites. No optional analytics, advertising cookies or session replay are currently enabled. Fonts are delivered with the application rather than requested from Google by your browser. If that changes, we will explain the provider category, purpose, and storage before optional processing starts and provide equally clear accept and reject choices. You can reopen Privacy choices at any time. Rejecting optional analytics does not disable the Service.
We keep account and programme data while needed to provide the Service. Open commitments and protected cohort records, submitted evidence, version metadata, reviews and grades may be retained to preserve the agreed record and other participants’ rights. Replaced or abandoned upload payloads are removed through controlled cleanup, while limited audit facts may remain. When deletion is available, Settings removes the account and associated records that no longer need to be kept. Support messages, security records, backups, and payment or accounting records remain only for the period needed for support, fraud prevention, recovery, dispute handling, or legal obligations, then are deleted or anonymised. Backup deletion follows the backup lifecycle.
Authentication emails and recovery links are never public. Specific retention periods and exceptions remain subject to legal review before commercial launch.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, private evidence storage, audit records, abuse prevention, and other appropriate technical and organisational measures. No system is completely secure, so please report suspected account misuse promptly.
You can download a machine-readable copy of your own account and programme data from Settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, withdraw consent, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to your local data-protection regulator. Email hello@outcomark.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law or another person’s rights require it.
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
We will post updates here and give reasonable notice before a material new use of personal data begins.
